This poster was created over the course of a week or so for the Bradley Symphony Orchestra spring concert and went through a handful of iterations. Initially, I went with something that was a left/right split of a violin neck and piano key, but then I realized it was very ugly and the gradient I was going to put on it would have had far future me rolling in my grave.

I then drew up this sharp-edged violin to be the centerpiece. I've also been quite fond of the flat rounded shapes I've been seeing around and decided to incorporate those into the design. I use the 'bubble' to encapsulate the text and images while also coloring them to create a landscape, with the blue as the sky and the negative space as clouds. Below is the grass with the violin, water, and sand.
